What is considered a limited access location?

A limited access location is one where trucks do not have clear and unfettered access to the exact pickup or delivery location and this may require a surcharge. Examples include, but are not limited to: churches, mosques, temples, synagogues, schools, colleges, universities, construction sites, individual/mini storage units, strip malls, malls, military bases, prisons, golf courses, farms, funeral homes, cemeteries, and gated locations. Additionally, any other location that is difficult for a truck to maneuver around may be considered limited access. Be sure to check off “Limited Access” under Additional Services when quoting or booking your pallet shipments to ensure you receive an accurate quote.

Customer Service

How do I track a shipment?

You can track all your shipments through the Freightcom platform.

Customer Service

How do I get a refund if my shipment is delayed?

Please note pick up and transit times are not guaranteed. Transit time is estimated and does not include the day of pick up or weekends. LTL shipments are not eligible for service failure refunds on the basis of transit delays. Shipments that are time sensitive or need guaranteed delivery dates would require that you request an alternate form of transport.

For package shipments, Guaranteed Service Refunds will only apply to extreme failures on the carrier's part. The guarantee does not apply when delivery is delayed due to the package not complying with the service restrictions and conditions set out in the carrier's terms and conditions of carriage, from events beyond carrier control (weather delays, customs delays, and/or any shipments requiring special handling) or any shipments moved at shipper's risk of damage/loss.

Customer Service

What happens if my shipment is damaged or lost?

We offer a comprehensive claims service that will handle any disputes that may arise from lost or damaged shipments.

The amount you send Freightcom will be added to the current credit limit and later when you have enough available credit on the account, you can send us an email at accounting@freightcom.com to use the amount against the outstanding/overdue invoices. Once the amount is used against your invoices the credit limit will be reduced.

Billing & Invoicing
